one day, 5 songs

I am still at the barn right now, being serenaded by Nuc's awesome band Forget Reason. I recorded all afternoon a quick CD I titled Round 1. I have been invited to open for forget reason on friday night in college park! Wonderful :) I can't wait!

Today went pretty smoothly I recorded Without knowing guitar and vocals at the same time and then went back to record each separately. This helps eliminate any problems with timing. After that I went at it, four songs in a row recording guitar and vocals at the same time. i'm using protools which allows me to punch in and use all kinds of effects. I didn't add any digital effects to my songs (yet) but it all sounds great! I am pleased with how today went.

Tomorrow is election day and my fingers are crossed for Kerry! I hope he beats bush.. for many reasons.

Friday night at 8 o clock. It's on, I'll be preparing.
